Join the Friends of New Orleans Public Library for a special free screening of The Librarians on Saturday, November 1 at 11am. This riveting documentary follows the story of librarians who have become defenders of democracy, standing up for our freedom to read and our most basic American rights.
The screening will be followed with a Q and A with Amanda Jones, a Livingston Parish Librarian who has become one of our nation’s best-known anti-censorship advocates. She is the author of _That Librarian_.
