Drug and alcohol addiction can be problematic in any profession, but it can be especially hard in the restaurant and bar business. Our panelist – Robert Chandler, Recovery Specialist, Odyssey House; Michael Gullota, restauranteur, Mayapop & Mopho; Alex Harrell, Virgin Hotels; plus current restaurant employees in recovery – will discuss issues of working in these environments, in a city where drug and alcohol addiction run deep. The one-hour panel will be moderated by Dr. Arwen Podesta, an addiction specialist. An Anthony Bourdain star, Chef Linda Green, aka “Yaka-Mein Lady”, will be on-hand serving us some delicious soul food!

The movie begins at 3pm. Cost is $8 per ticket. The panel is free and open to public beginning at 5pm
